This pink and purple sequin halter top from Maison Margiela’s Fall 2016 collection was designed by John Galliano. The top is smothered in shimmering sequins that shift from soft rose to deep burnt orange, and form two large polka-dots in violet and candy pink. As Vogue observed, “It feels he’s back, and mixing things up like the master of eccentric eclecticism he is.” This top captures that spirit perfectly: a piece that feels both experimental and glamorous. It is lined with a coffee-hued cloth that is woven with gold metallic thread. It has no fastenings and pulls on over the head.
