This two-piece skirt suit is tailored from vermilion orange jacquard. The fabric has a subtle tonal diamond motif woven into the fabric - a signature Lacroix textural flourish of the mid-1990s. It is cut in the house’s classic collarless silhouette with a split front hem that opens into a soft peplum. This construction appears throughout the designer’s 1994-1995 ready-to-wear collections (pictured).

Fastened with enamel logo buttons, each set in an elaborate gold-tone frame and featuring a "CL" logo, the suit showcases the lavish ornamentation Lacroix championed. Dense trims, jeweled buttons, saturated colour, brocades, jacquards - this era defined the brand’s maximalist identity. The high-waist pencil skirt is cut from the same cloth. Both pieces are lined with tonal satin throughout.
